Morning people,
As you can tell from the title my handmade monday is incomplete :( However considering i had to unpick it so many times, i'm just glad i've got into the flow of it finally..
It should eventually be a headband, just have to keep going until it fits round my big head :)
Workspace today is very untidy:
Had a big glitter mishap that has gone everwhere, i am putting off cleaning it up sooooo bad :)
Later on i may make some scones, pic willl be uploaded if they don't turn out looking like muffins again....oops.
As every monday i want to thank Wendy for running handmade monday always a pleasure to take part, and please click on the link to visit other crafters who take part :)

Your work are is positively tidy compared to mine, lol. Intrigued to see the finished head band
ReplyDeleteLOL! I know all about glitter spillages!! We are the only house in our road who frequently has glittery cats!! (AKA The Bling Brigade!)
ReplyDeleteNow I really want to eat scones too...
I am now following your blog so I am keen to see the finished headband!

Love the Halfmade Monday title! Looking forward to seeing the complete headband.
ReplyDeleteOh, you should see my studio at the moment for a bit of serious untidiness. No glitter, though, fortunately! :-)
Thanks for taking part in HM x
Lovely piece of cabling K, I think I could happily join your half made Monday Club, I have a beany hat waiting for me to knit the cord, although I have completed eight others, since last weekend. Two pairs of booties, one to be sewn up and the others to have the buttons sew on. And eight tote bags pinned and waiting for me to go get the webbing on Wednesday.

Great start to the headband, look forward to see the finished piece. My craft room is getting so messy and full of stuff, that I wont be able to get in it shortly. Hugs Sue x
ReplyDeleteThe headband is looking really nice and I love the colour. I'll be back to see it finished, in the mean time, Happy Knitting : )
ReplyDeleteooh I get in so much trouble with glitter! Hope it doesn't end up on the scones! The headband is looking lovely xx
ReplyDeleteWell i am seriously impressed seeing as i can just about knit one purl one! It looks great so far, looking forward to the end result.
ReplyDeleteAaaah - is this the one I commented on before saying you shouldn't give up! I think it is and this looks great. As you say now you're in the flow it will be easier to complete. Well done - let's see the finished article when you're done!

hehe @ halfmade :) The knitting is looking good, keep going! Don't get glitter on your baking though!
ReplyDeleteThe headband is looking great so far, I am sure now you are in the swing of it you'll finish in no time. We are all guilty of having half finished items lying around, my motto is that at some time it will be completed, I am just waiting for the final flourish of inspiration. Feel free to pinch and use as required
ReplyDeleteMuffins ? Scones ? I am easy ! :-) As long as they have jam ! :-) and the headband is looking like a winner to me here :-) * taps foot impatiently - is it finished yet ? *
ReplyDeletePop over to my blog www.silverthistlebeads.com/blog/ for my Handmade Monday post :-)
